iPhone 15 Pro Max Reported To Have A Price Increase This Year, But Will Have Some Exclusive Functions

The iPhone 15 series is expected to debut in September this year. Haitong International Technology Research analyst Jeff Pu predicts that the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max may be higher than the starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max at $1,099.

Unlike last year, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have some exclusive features rather than being identical to the 6.1-inch Pro.

In the past few generations, the Pro and Pro Max have been consistent in terms of specs other than screen size (and battery capacity), but this year that will change.

The current expectation is that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the only flagship product in the entire series equipped with a periscope zoom lens, increasing the magnification from 3x to 6x, and equipped with the largest 6.7-inch OLED panel currently available.

Not only that, but the larger size also means it will have a larger 4852mAh battery compared to the iPhone 15 Pro’s 3650mAh battery, which should improve daily battery life.

There are also rumors that Apple is phasing out the 128GB storage model in favor of a 256GB model as standard, so that could also be a reason for the price increase.

However, according to LeaksApplePro, both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro will increase in price by $100, with the former starting at $1,199 and the latter starting at $1,099.

Additionally, Jeff Pu also said that Apple will begin mass production of the iPhone 15 series in August 2023, with shipments expected to reach 84 million units in the second half of the year, a 12% increase from last year’s iPhone 14 series, showing Apple’s commitment to the iPhone 15 series. Confidence in market demand.

Meanwhile, the above still remains rumors, and everything has yet to be officially announced.
